Since 1993, I have worked in home care, residential, nursing and respite care homes for the elderly and disabled, in medical, surgical, orthopaedic and critical care hospital wards, in operating theatres, and in other settings. I therefore have considerable insight into the problems and dilemmas faced today by patients/ care clients, families and care providers.
